How we research, check and correct our work

People use Yuzoki to decide which AI tools to trust with their work, so we hold every page to one rule: if we cannot confirm it, we do not publish it. This page explains how that works in practice.

How we choose what to cover

We cover AI news that changes how people work, new features a reader can try this week, and step-by-step guides to the major AI tools. We skip rumours, gossip and stories that exist only to provoke. We cover tools from every major AI company, including the leading Chinese models, and we do not take sides between them.

Which sources we use

  • We start with primary sources: the company's own announcement, documentation, changelog, pricing page, filing, research paper or code repository.
  • Every central claim, including any number in a headline, needs two independent sources or one primary source. Two outlets repeating the same press release count as one.
  • When a claim rests on a single report we could not confirm, we either leave it out or say so in the text.
  • We label company claims as company claims, and we include independent reactions and criticism when they exist.
  • Every article lists the sources it used at the bottom of the page.

How every piece is checked before it goes live

Writing and checking are separate steps. After a piece is written, an independent review step re-checks every number, date, name, plan and price against sources it opens itself, and checks that headlines and social posts match the article exactly. It then scores the piece on accuracy, insight, depth, usefulness, clarity and voice. A piece is published only if every claim is confirmed and it clears our quality bar on everything else. Pieces that fall short are rewritten once, and if they still fall short, they are dropped.

Guide pages work from fact sheets for each AI tool. We re-check those fact sheets against the maker's official pages on a rolling basis, and when a fact changes, we update every page that mentions it.

How we use AI

Yuzoki teaches people to use AI, and we use it ourselves. AI tools, including Claude, help us research, draft and check our pages. They never replace the rules above: every claim still has to be confirmed against sources before it goes live, and nothing is published because a model said so.

Independence

Yuzoki is free and independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or paid by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft or any other company we write about. We do not run sponsored articles or take payment for placement in comparisons, and our recommendations are not for sale.

Dates and updates

Every article shows the date it was published. Guide pages also show when they were last updated. AI tools change their plans, prices and features often, so for anything that costs money, check the vendor's own pricing page as well.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Corrections that change the meaning of a page are noted at the bottom of that page with the date. If you spot an error, message us on LinkedIn or Instagram with the page and the source, and we will check it.
