AI tool stacks: which AI tools work best together
An AI tool stack is a small set of AI tools chained together so each one does the job it is best at, for example one tool to research, another to write and a third to design. This page from Yuzoki, a free AI-education project, gives you 25 multi-tool stacks grouped by theme and 31 department playbooks for teams that use one assistant. Every stack and playbook opens as a step-by-step article with the tools, the order to use them, prompts you can copy and the risks to watch.
There are two ways in. If you already pay for one assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini), start with its one-time setup guide and then pick a playbook for your department. If you are happy to mix tools, pick a multi-tool stack for your workflow. Most stacks start on free plans. Prices come from each official pricing page and are listed on the Yuzoki compare page.
Multi-tool stacks by theme
Each stack below names the tools it uses in order and what you end up with. The picks come from what people share about their real setups in public posts and community threads, not from paid placement.

Set up one assistant once
These setup guides get one assistant ready before you run any playbook. Each one has seven steps.
- Set up Claude once (Anthropic). Claude works best when you stop chatting and start setting it up: connect your tools, write down how you like things done, then let it run on a schedule. Steps: Pick the plan that unlocks the work; Connect your tools, read-only first; Give it your context; Turn repeat work into skills; Share it with the team as a plugin; Put the routine on a schedule; Set guardrails before you scale.
- Set up ChatGPT once (OpenAI). ChatGPT has two modes. Chat answers. Work finishes jobs: it has a browser, runs code with internet access, keeps files between sessions and publishes Sites. Most teams never switch to Work. Steps: Pick the plan that unlocks the work; Know when to use Work; Put each job in a Project; Connect your apps; Save your methods; Schedule the routine; Set guardrails.
- Set up Gemini once (Google). Gemini is strongest when your work already lives in Google. It reads your Gmail, Calendar and Drive, and it is the only big assistant that also makes images, video and music. Steps: Pick the plan that unlocks the work; Turn on Keep Activity; Connect your Google apps; Save repeat tasks as Gems; Group work in notebooks; Schedule it; Set guardrails.
